Snow-shoeing

Come explore the hidden and secret places of Australia’s largest Alpine National Park, Kosciuszko. Snow-shoeing is a perfect way to discover Australia’s unique wilderness and wildlife, at your own pace, for as short or as long as you like. Experience a landscape very different to Europe and North America, a place with no pine trees, only the gnarled twisted limbs and mottled orange and green trunks of the unique snow gums. It is as simple as one foot in front of the next and fitness is not an issue. Half day guided tours are available and these include a gourmet lunch. For that little added adventure, try the famous “Roof Top of Australia Tour”. Explore the winter wonderland & freedom of snow-shoeing with a short 3km walk through the rock creek valley to the base of the Mt Perisher double chair for a cappuccino or hot chocolate before wandering back down the hill returning to the Perisher Centre.
